Many of us are at this doldrum. So we walk...or dont we walk? I can imagine most of us having this little voice in us that says....be careful, dont risk it.

Well mine says that, fear of what may happen even with the govt agreeing to the rally to be held in the stadium. Can you imagine a stampede if anything were to happen?

Common sense prevails. I will rally my style. I would love to be there in sense but (sigh!)......... (3 days to go and my mind is going crazy!!!)

Oh well, of recent news in Malaysian tabloid, we only see the case of sex scandal and Sarawak polls (not so much coverage) taking centre stage. The 3 stooges (hmm 3 or 2?) seem to be making head spin, tail spin and yarn spin with this sex scandal.

Politics in Malaysia is akin to sewer and gutter. Why, all because of greed and to keep all their (BN) skeletons intact in the closet. Yes or not? If opposition comes into power, can you imagine the amount of nonsense that will arise? All the crony spending, contract giving, I help you-you help me, many more invented by gutter politicians.

When will this ever end? If let say the opposition win majority..i bet another PERAK will happen and many frogs will be jumping. So once again the gutter politics come in play.

Haiz...what a drama world we live in! Oh wait ONLY IN MALAYSIA; this drama is saucy and juicy with these type! On whose expense? THE RAKYAT (COUNTRYMEN-WOMEN)!! I rather have a womaniser-manizer than murderer or plunder of our wealth! As long he OR she runs this country in good/clean governance with good education, health, welfare, economy; that would be MY WISH!

I am not sure if you have recently noticed that the money value mentioned is amazing!

What I mean by amazing is; recently PAS was offered a RM4bil 'donation' for Kelantan's expansion plans. Soon after which it was pulled back by the offeror, with much controversies attached to it.

Then there is our famous PM's pledge (presented by Idris Jala) for expansion plan in greater KL for OMG even my mind is blowing..RM1.4 trillion for modernization under NEM.

There are other such amounts being used by our govt.Please read the MSM and you will come across it.

Just curious, where is this kind of huge sum coming from? The tax payers monies surely is not enough for their (govt) play money so hey where is this money coming from la? Even if you think the private sector is going to hand over the said sum to you (as what was suggested by Jala), there must be some catch no?

As a simple tax payer, who draws a simple pay and after all deductions, just manage to have a moderate life style, this kind of value of monies mentioned is truly mind blowing. However when I look around, yes there are still poverty (walk with your eye open) and people who live from hand to mouth plus there are also people whom spend like theres no tomorrow! Whats the value of the money?

In forex, right now RM$ is RM4.10 for 1Euro, RM3.10 to 1USD, RM4.80 to 1SP (sterling) and RM2.35 to 1SGD(singapore). Aiyaa...our money value is truly not that great and honestly even if it is...it could be artificially injected to power some body's purse string (VVVVIP) rather than our normal purse string (the rakyat)!

The day that our government honestly look into our (rakyat's) eye and say sorry we wronged you that the day I believe anything said from that stinking mouth of theirs!

Govt Spending Monies on Nonsense!!

Off late, the govt spending habits are questionable. Who can question these people how they spend the tax payers monies? Can we? I truly hope so! Cos what I see is they just spend its like they own the monies themselves!!!

Why do we taxpayer pay taxes? Why..ok, (not in proper order) fund the education system, hospitals (medical care), pay their salaries (a bunch of wasted govt servants!), defense system and so on and so forth. Yes or no?

Ok here's the story, my uncle is hospitalized in GH Ipoh. He is very sick and needs a scan done urgently. Mind you his daughter is a govt servant so he gets full treatment from GH. They need to do a scan on him like pronto but hey the queue for scan is so long and his appointment is somewhere in June 2, 2010. He needs the scan like yesterday but no they turned him away saying "please go to private hospital if you want an urgent scan" AH!!!! Is this how our hospitals are handling medical services? Yes we all understand that to fund a hospital is expensive but hey you are the main hospital in Perak and the equipment should be at least be enuff to cater for the many needy patients.

I bet there are more horror stories all over Malaysia with the inefficiencies and insufficient equipments in hospitals in Malaysia. If that's the case, why does the govt spend monies bribing frogs, paying for votes and nonsensical things when they should be looking into spending that monies rightfully on things that matter to the RAKYAT! Medical, Education, etc??

So disappointing la! Truly disgusted with the way money is spend! You think it will change, I think not. As long as there are selfish, self-centered human being in this GOVT, there will never be good hospitals and education care in this country!

Hey you Malaysians overseas, have you ever tried exercising your voting rights? Does the embassy allow you to vote? Do you cast your votes?

Well, during one conversation, my cousin sister from UK told me something very interesting. A bunch of her friends in UK had got together to go for votes (during the last GE). They were in for a rude shock! The Malaysian embassy turned them out saying that there was no such service at the embassy!! How funny. So if you are Malaysian (holding the passport mind you) being stationed or studying overseas you can’t vote?

I mean, talk about being very ‘politically’ correct when they want to be; BN says that they are very righteous and fair. So where is the fairness when it comes to Malaysians overseas right to vote? Why are they not allowed to vote? I am not talking about officials of the embassies I am talking about ordinary Malaysians leaving or studying overseas.

So what’s story there la?

Today I was very amused. I saw some DBKL officials (operations dept) at Jalan Solaris doing some clean up.

They were clearing all the ‘nasi lemak’ stalls from the roadside at Mont Kiara. I couldn’t help it; I stopped my car, got down to speak to the officer. I had a complaint too.

You see where I live; the side road is a mess! I hardly see the Alam Flora people clean up (cos it’s under their jurisdiction – under DBKL) Rubbish thrown everywhere and scattered on the 5 foot way. At one time there was even a one-seater sofa set (I even remember the color – blue!) thrown there for the longest time ever!

Today I had to stop by and complaint; so I asked them what they were doing? He told me that this Dato’ Saravanan is coming to Mont Kiara and that’s why they were cleaning up! AH! So only when the official comes, they so gung-ho clean up! If not that place can be a pig-sty (rubbish dump) for all they care. A stone’s throw away- further down, there is kongsi of Indons leaving under the Sunrise Group. How about that?

That is another matter altogether la; as long as there’s construction there will be some kongsi of sorts.

The road along Mont Kiara (entrance to the Solaris area) has one too many pot-holes but hey nothing is ever done! Maybe with this big-shot coming, the roads can be re-paved?? How about it DBKL?

Aiyaaa, the fact when we complain officially (as we are paying our taxes) nothing happens and suddenly there’s one official joker coming, all the staff/workers of the state officials (like DBKL) will be seen doing their work!

Bet all of you have been reading the news sensation on the caning of the 3 women. Hmm, and the ladies after the caning apparently repented! Come-come you think truly they repented with the strokes that they didn’t even feel? Like what Marina Mahathir said in her blog, it was like going to a spa! and coming out new!

Sadly the caning will not be a lesson learnt. Much to our dismay, the religious ‘police’ will only attack their women kind. Sad isn’t it? We have moved to the 21st century and yet we need someone like the religious police to teach moral lessons!

In Europe you see many faces of humankind and believe me no religious police here can teach them moral lessons. It’s your right to choose your life the way you want it. You sleep on the bed that you make. If you chose wrong, you live with the consequence. Maybe it bad or good, that’s how the Western/Europeans have been living.

Now back in Malaysia, the Muslim women have been ‘suppressed’ to accept their fate. As long as you are born a Muslim woman in Malaysia (and Arabic countries) you are subjected to the syariah ruling and if you step out of line, you get towed and towed badly!

Maybe I lack the knowledge of Muslim (women) rights (don’t blame me as every time we seek to understand, the pro-Muslims don’t wish to help us understand) but I feel sad that why a woman must be treated in such ways? What about the men? Are they not guilty too? I believe I have posted one article on the rape of an Arabic Woman long time back. She didn’t ask to be raped but she was the victim of this one-sided syariah law.

Double standard practices are also noticeable as mentioned in another blogger’s site under (jelas.info) Nathaniel – Will we cane the Muslim who had illicit sex with a Mongolian? So how come this fella escaped caning ah? Is he not Muslim? Did he not do any wrong?

As long as there are people who misinterpret the rules of Islam, there will be the obvious abuse of the human-kind and the scapegoat normally being the women, as long as they are under mind. We may have moved into the 21st century but for the Muslim women, they are stuck in the centuries back.

So have you registered to Vote? Have you??????!!!***#####$$$?????!!!!!

Instead of being upset and angry with the current situations, maybe you should get your bums up from that lazy chair and go register yourself for the polls. (In any country basically; more so if you are Malaysian).

I have, and I am proud to say I have exercised my right from the time I became 'of age' to vote.

So now when you register, do so earlier before the polls dates are out. If you leave it too late, you may not be able to exercise your votes. You know la, they (govt/SPR) will find all excuses not to update your record.

Recent events in Malaysia have got the younger generation thinking and working their brains. So go on, do the rightful thing and go register to vote! That's the safest way to be heard and not this demo and silent marches, candle vigilant etc.

Every time you think you want to organize a March or something, the police will be there to nab you, fire tear gas at you and hey you will have one addition police record in your file. Don't give them that chance.

When you cast your vote.....be smart and vote right. Think and vote.

Okay la enuff of me advising you. I am sure you know what to do NOW.

Where to go? GO to your nearest POST OFFICE...easiest to do.

Go check your name, IC number, your area..and who represents your area, for those have registered and NOT VOTED!!!

What's the Price for Peace?

Of late, many of us have been bombarded with questions, "Is Malaysia peaceful? Is Malaysia truly 1Malaysia? Hey, where's the unity in Malaysia?"

Many of these questions came from my foreign friends whom have read and seen the recent situation in Malaysia on TV news/papers. Now what am I to say? There I was, during my stay overseas, promoting my country and her beauty, her FOOD...(yea its mostly that also!) and mostly her friendly-natured people. HA! Like a slap, some of these people sneered remarks on the recent issue.

Now, as defense I said only ONE thing, Not all Five fingers are same, so in this incident, Not all Muslims are like that. I gave them the proverb, One rotten apple in the basket -business;

Enough said on this issue, so I ask you, whats the price one pays for PEACE? Can we have peace you think? PEACE ....is like a calm effect after a storm. Now Malaysia needs the PEACE to rebuilt its tarnished image. I read Malaysiakini and all its related articles and one article came to my attention. The opinion column "Let them win here, drop the Allah claim"

Yes that's PEACE, to be tolerant is to be able to compromise. Are we Malaysians ready to compromise? (Hmmm, maybe I should do a survey and find out!) So are we? Well I know I am ready. Ready to compromise for the sake of a peaceful environment, for the sake of the economic stability and more so for the sake of mental peace and not worried when we step out of our door, whats going to happen!

You won't believe it but during me recent trip to London I was actually uncomfortable in the Underground due to its attacks/bombing, I was waiting to get out of there and in the open area. Do we want that? I think not.

If both parties are head strong and stubborn in this case of the use of the word "Allah" we will soon be headed that way. Claims can be verified and dated but your faith cannot be shaken or misconstrued if the 'word' is wrongly text /context!

If the so-called Muslims (not all but a handful of rotten apples) are so adamant to lay claim for the said word, why not just give it to them? Are you going to loose your faith or become a weaker one as you are willing to let-go, to compromise, to be the better one?

This is my opinion.

The word.....holds no significant if you don't believe and have faith! ITS JUST A WORD!

So what is 2010 going to be for all of us?

Hopefully it will be a better year for the economy, for the poor, for our health!!, wholesomely better for our LIFE!

For us Malaysians, we hope that we have a better government, a better system, for the current government to realize that we the rakyat are not stupid and dumb (as they keep thinking all these years we are!).

Ahem, I wonder if that wishes are too much to ask for?

What’s new in this crazy country called Malaysia?

 The Mentri Besar (MB) (State Minister) from N. Sembilan had managed somehow to transfer RM10mil without any hassle and knowledge of Bank Negara (the central bank in Malaysia) to London. The MB is lip-stitched on any comments so far.
 BTN (Biro TataNegara – The national civics bureau) have been exposed of their promotion of disunity they propagate in their courses. The Deputy Prime Minister is in full denial.
 The Prime Minister is MUM about his involvement of the unnameable Alt as he was challenged by the opposition to come clean with it (even after he swore on his holy book that he doesn’t know such a person)
 The former PM, Tun Mahathir is speechless (for this moment) about the book that exposed his ‘administration’ of Malaysia during his tenure.
 People in Malaysia and her rakyat who resides overseas are all eyes on the matters that discredit the political situation in that country.
 What is 1Malaysia? Till to-date this is a question we (the rakyat of non BN propaganda) are asking as it only discord the unity of Malaysia and its citizens.

So what do you think about Malaysia?

For me, I think Malaysia is a beautiful country with mixed races and religion. Its administration starting from the top needs to be fired (layman’s term kicked out). However if we kick them out, can the next party who rule, rule her in fair and just manner? Now that is my question and I am still in doubt. No one, not even BN (the current ruling monopoly party) can stand up and match up to her beauty. In hands of these people she is turning uglier by the day!

What's the Worth of a Woman's Life?

How does one value their life? What’s the tag in your life?

Malaysiakini (and I am sure the other papers in Malaysia) were running the story of 'Seetha' the lady who committed suicide by drinking paraquat. She not only drank it but she also felt compelled to feed the same poison to her children. She succumbed to the poison on 18th November 2009.

What drove her to do this? Was she so dire in desperation for money for food, for a home to stay? No neither she was devastated that her younger brother died in a police shoot out (he was a gangster with a famous gang in Klang/Shah Alam). Where was her devastation when her brother had done cruel things to people during his gang raid days? Why hadn't she consoled her brother to go the right way (that’s if she knew what he was up to)?

What valued had she for her life and of her children's lives? They were so small and they couldn't go against what she asked them to do. All four of their ages are ranging from 9 to 3 years old. Now they will live a life of motherless, scorned by their relatives and the outcome could be good or bad (depending very much on the situation they will have to face).

I cannot begin to imagine what was in her mind when she was pouring poison for them to drink? Would you, could you? I suppose if you are in so heavy a depression you do things you are not aware of but to take one's life is so a courages thing. No coward does that! Sorry she is not a hero in my eye for what she did. (Forget the circumstances of why she did it!)

Anyway she is gone and lives moves on. The children will have to face the battle of their lives. My heart goes out for them though. Why did GOD give the right to a woman to bear the child and carry it 9 months? He could have easily given it to the Man no? He made women the tougher of the 2 humankind.
The value of her life? NIL - None because according to the papers, she couldn't bare to live her life without her brother. That’s what the parents said (it seems) and so there you go..that’s what she thought of her life. So her husband, her family and the rest...was NOTHING! Imagine that.

Then I got this email with the below article from a friend of mine. He forwarded this email, (timing apt!) as it’s about the plight of Muslim women in the European country for the Syariah Court ruling. Read on..(this the excerpt)

In the West World ( America, UK, Australia, Canada etc.) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife cannot obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending Western Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened Western women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world.

Now what the worth of their lives? I don't have any religious contentions here but only for the life of womankind. (Please don't read it wrong)

As for me I love my life and I thank god everyday he has given me and for his blessing on it too. Good or bad, I have learnt to embrace it and move on. My prayer today that GOD gives the strength to the women kind (humankind) to be strong and face what the future has for US (good or bad).

I read an interesting article of the man I have come to imagine as a 'she-devil'.

When you are in Italy and when you switch on the TV, you see nothing but half-naked women squeezed into tight-fitted clothes (or some barely) and contest shows throwing money like no business. The man behind these channels is none other than the 'she-devil'. I wondered how this man became so famous to be in politics. They say politics is synonymous to dirty money, women, power crazed shameless devils. Well looks like almost all the traits that the 'she devil' has.

One part awed and one part disgust overwhelms me whenever I see this man on tv. Well to add more fuel I came a cross this article in The Malaysian Insider provided by The Guardian today.

Today's Malaysian e-papers are plastered with the late Sujatha's face and also the face of Vel Paari. They have linked each other, romantically but that's all. No link on her death. They have decided/passed judgement the death of Sujatha is purely suicidal.

So from the whole incident we can conclude the followings;

Urine sample missing..but its ok (so how the pregnancy....vanished la?)
she was taken to Klang as Vel Paari's cousin works there (all the way from Sentul to Klang..that's a long way to go)
There was indication that she was in love but don't know whom. However (from Malaysian Insider..

And although evidence such as the discovery of Vel Paari’s photos and other testimony indicative of their close relationship were presented during the course of the inquest, the coroner said the matter has no bearing on the inquest.

“He could be the person the deceased was in love with but I am reluctant to decide on this issue as it has no bearing in this inquest.”

“Her lover may be morally wrong but not legally,” added the coroner.

Foul play so written all over this case but as usual in Malaysia where anything is possible in the judicial system, the family of late SS (Silly Sujatha) has been 'compromised'. Would any family let this happen to their daughter and keep quiet? So they made noise and they were easily 'compromised' too.

She wanted to 'mix' with the 'in' crowd so she got burnt. Let that be a lesson for all the Sujatha/Alt(cant mention name also) Wanna-bes also Datin Wanna-bes, you play with fire YOU GET BURNT and C4-ed.

Hell is fast becoming a crowded place, wonder if they have a 1Malaysia Neraka?

Wow, the' slipper garland' remark has gained a great momentum from all and sundry!

Ok some Tamil language lessons before we start ; Serapu - Slipper Sirruppu - laughter/joke Taingeh - WornOut Malley - Garland

First and foremost, that remark should have been for Samy Vellu(SV) and not Mahathir(TDM). However equality plays an important role here too. (hehehehehe)

Okaylah, if the guy wanted to garland TDM with serapus,they should get taingeh serapus malley for SV!!!!! so they (TDM/SV) can bersama-sama gembira (happy together). You know why?

YES!!! Cos they didn't do anything so great for their own communities!!! Both are well known for their cronyism, sarcasm, corruption, money-politics, all talk-cockness, the list goes on and on and on....

Even if TDM pinned Malaysia on the World Map; he brought along with it all his other 'attributes' and not to mention the biggest contribution - RACIALISM!!!! Because of him Malaysia today stands un-united when he should have righted his wrong and made it UNITED.(Safe except for some Rakyat whom are struggling to be united and not divided as they (UMNO/BN n gang wants))

So same goes to SV, the man should have made Indians proud of him for doing things right but NO, they all CURSE him and his family for their 'bullying tactic'. The amount of remarks that were listed on Malaysiakini and The Malaysian Insider wow was amazingly colourful!

Looks like the Indians in Malaysia are still dingbats to believe this liar and 'gangster' and his gang!

To make things worse, the PM has promised more goodies if the Indians 'respond'! What a laugh!!!! What goodies, more like biscuit crumbs cos we are the last to get anything. Don't forget in the pie, mostly goes to UMNOites and then the crumbs are thrown to the balance of flock. Saki-baki pun mereka nak telan (even the crumbs they (bn/umno) want!)

Tradition & Religion

Any religion in itself is a beautiful religion. However, the practise of any religion is tarnished by the said people themselves.

There are many hypocrites who go around preaching that they are holier than thou when they themselves are the ones who tarnish the beauty of their religion!

Don't go so far. I was Hindu by birth and now I am a Christian. I have been called a hyprocrite due to practising my tradition. Tradition is something I hold greater to my heart. Yes I am Indian, so I follow the Indian tradition. No law is there for forbidding you to practice a tradition.

Tradition and Religion are separate subjects. One should address them differently and always see them as such. They co-exists but are not ONE.

Right now, in Malaysia, we have been bombarded with matters of how the model and mum, Kartika will be caned for her not following her religion. She repented, she admited but on how the sentence shall be carried out is another matter.

In Malaysia, there are several religion and tradition co-existing. Nothing wrong with that, however certain quarters used this as their truimph card to embattled another into a tussle. They knowingly do it, as the 'use of religion' in some hands are 'arsenal'.

Books written by prophets, are guidelines used in enforcing the religion. A scientist can on the other hand challenge this and ask, so did GOD say this and that. Never ending argument and a hassle to argue.

At the end, we, are burdened to weigh what is right and what is wrong. Honestly the Vatican is against abortion. I would weigh it, will this child have a home? Will the parent/parents take care of it and bring the child up in such condition? What if the child is handicap? Is the society taking care or is the church going to take care of it? What if the child's parents are children themselves?? What then? Look at the many abandon children out there!

One can pray so many times a day and when he or she comes out of the temple/mosque/church and then cast a curse or hurt someone knowingly...does that make a person a good hindu, christian or muslim? lol...like my uncle use to say..'bloody humbug!'...lol

I can write on more but suffice to say, I'd probably anger lots of people with what I write. Honestly, I answer to GOD and GOD only. So if I anger GOD then, he shall punish me accordingly. Not some men who think they can play GOD.

So drinking is 'haram' aka 'sin' in Islam. So don't drink. However there are lots of them who drink. In Turkey, their fav drink 'Raki' which is ALCOHOL. They drink that! So go whipping and caning them as Turkey is a Islamic Country and almost all who drink are muslims there.

The subject is wide and spread. We can cry to Kingdon come, we have to look at ourselves in the mirror every morning and know in our heart if we have been a GOOD PERSON, HONEST PERSON and HUMBLE PERSON. That matters most cause half the battle will be won if ONLY they (the people out there) think like that.

I am no saint (God forbid) and I am no angel but I don't wish any bad on another person, knowingly.

Kartika, you are a better muslim than MANY (holy-man included!!) out there!

Sadly one man died due to an investigation that his state guy misused some money (RM2k+). Now what is this compared the millions the ex MB of Selangor swindled??? He had the cheek to come on Astro and give a babbling speech so we can understand him better.

I didn't wish to waste my time on Sunday to hear this joker talk and glorify himself. In all honestly I hardly watch national news on tv/astro. Its sheer waste!

How come the MACC didn't haul up this joker??? Yes you are correct cos MACC is so UMNO/BN driven. They (MACC) will only go for the opposition and play bully. After all there seems to be abundance of palaces and trips our joker seem to have his finger prints on!

We may cry foul and go on with this but you know something, they will pay big time soon on their misdeeds (gross!!!!!) So big that even seeing themselves in the mirror, they will shit in their pants (and skirts!)

So tell me people, are we learning English in school or BM-lish! Yes the government can flip-flop their decision to teach Maths & Science in Bahasa/English, you know why? Their children do not attend local school like our children. They send their kids to some hosh-posh international school or even overseas boarding school, so they are spared with the hassle of being taught horrible English in school (not withstanding Maths/Science)!

Seriously, if this the quality of uni-grads now (and has been for sometime now!) i can't imagine how they will be years to come!

Half the time, none of the new government staff understand simple English what-more a well spoken bahasa. They all speak the 'kampung bahasa' with their twang!

Worst now, they (govt) want to do away with UPSR!!!!! Aiyooooo stop!!!!!!! Don't mess up up our ONCE sacred Education system (it has mutilated since years now!) Leave our children alone! (I feel like singing Pink Floyd's Song! We don't need no education!!........)

I have been away from blogging for some time now. Not that there was nothing to blog but infact the opposite, more because I feel that we are ranting and raving but no-one is actually listening!

I mean look at the Perak issue, it died the slow death (painful for some of us to accept its current fate but...) and then the issue on the cases that oops were swept under the Malaysian Carpet of 'Forgotten, Lost in Transit'.

Somethings are much alive like the case of PKFZ...thanks to our sir LKS and gang and one main issue of 'the privilaged people ie Malays'. A topic that has many squirming and in fits of anger, today was visited by En. Art Harun of The Malaysian Insider. The article was beautifully written and I must say it was very 'insideful' to read.

So after reading the said article, I am sure now many of the 'privileged people' will throw their tantrums and question Art's right on writing this issue.

Kudos Art for standing firm to ground on this matter and hopefully 'privileged people' get the true meaning of 'special rights'. Somehow Art, this will fall on deaf ears and yes you will be scorned as a traitor to Muslims (as you wrote in the begining of your article).

As long as this issue is much debated and non-visited by the 'privileged people'; the actual essence of Malaysia (as the current government wish to portray but doing it so badly & wrongly!!!) will NEVER BE MET!

Wastes our tax payers money!!

Today I read in The Malaysian Insider that Mahatma Zambry Mandela is 'pissed' to have been be called the "The Mentri Besar of the Court" by the PAS Leader.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir today denied he was "the chief minister of the court" who did not have the support of the Perak people, as claimed by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.

Well Zambry its true, you are not only the MB of the court, you are also officially the COURT JESTER. Not only Perakian don't like you, they actually don't trust YOU. To make matters easy for them (Perakians - and I mean true one here and not bogus froggies and dummies) you going to spent RM30,000/- on some unknown two swimmers;

- Zambry also announced that the Perak government would contribute RM30,000 in cash to the English Channel attempt by the two swimmers in July. The swimmers' father Abdul Halim Abdul Manaf, 49, a Universiti Teknologi Mara lecturer, predicted that the 38km swim across the chilly channel from Dover, England, to Calais, France, would take about 14 hours.- Bernama

How come no one knows about this? Suddenly it comes out. By the way, wasn't this feat already been done by another malaysian long time back? So whats so 'extra-ordinary' la this one?

As I blogged in Zorro's site, I knew that this bogus Pangkor fella gonna use the Perak Coffers till its runs dry. Thats BN's trade mark yes or not? Plunder the state...plunder it! Its amazing that they (BN) still think that we Malaysians can be still 'hood-winked' by their cheats and rogues.

You know, my disgust feeling for Samy has grown so much that it knows no boundary. Yea some say I should cut some slack for this guy but seriously why should I or for that matter why should any one? What good has he done - truly? Yea..yea the roads and highways and then what? Ok very 'minute' portion of Indian community but still not visible to many. Some also say its not that great - his achievement.

Its amazing that he still wants to be relevant in Malaysian politics and the lives of Malaysian Indians. How-la? He breeds cronyism, he breeds corruption and he breeds....of foul stench in the Indian community. Sorry but that's the truth. I still remember the day my brother (a straight A student) went to him for a scholarship and Samy had the cheek to be-little him and then gave the scholarship to a girl whose grades were nothing to shout about! From that day on I swore to myself and all my siblings too that we shall never be a MIC member!! That incident you could say just plastered in the coffin for MIC and esp Samy!

Looking at MIC today, its still a non-relevant party, it's a mishap, a money-greedy party like any other BN component party. Sadly there are some blind followers who sold their soul to this party and also some very very poor people who believed him and placed all their monies in MAIKA shares.

I know of many sad stories on that incident. Many farmers, rubber tappers and hard-core poor people's blood and sweat money was misused and abused in that Share SCAM/SCANDAL. Till today if you bring that out at any party meeting, you are cast aside and 'bullied'.

You know how he can be relevant, by being honest to himself (with his dying age soon coming) and make right what he wronged! At least some 'karma' of his may be appeased. That situation may never see the day or light la but its wishful thinking. Wonder how he sleeps at night knowing he cheated off so many people's lively hood? How he can see himself in the mirror after all what he has done?

Worst of all, his son is following very closely on the father's footstep. Like father like son......

Well today is Friday and I honestly didn't wish to write about him (so bad omen!) but after reading the caption in Malaysiakini and how he said that MIC is here forever....I so wanted to write this blog!!

To associate him with an animal also will be disrespectful to one (poor animal!)! Yea...my hatred is etched deep within me and he just brings it out like bile! YUCKS!!!! Horrible after-taste!!!!!!

You know its amazing that how some court procedures amazes us.

Many lawyers complain on the lateness of their cases being heard and wham!, in the case of Court of Appeal, The Stay order has been processed in EXPRESS MODE. Wow, so nice that staffs in the appeal courts are working so over-zealously in this instance.

When its the opposition's order, sorry-la you don't see the speedy-gonzales here. They take their own-sweet time. What does that confirm here? YES COURTS ALSO BNites. Aiya...so lan-chow la this judicial kangaroo court. (Actually we all know it but hey, just want to goreng abit la..you know the feeling right!)

Any who, we are back into court - to appeal his stay, his over-stay and his no-stay. Yea this stay business is becoming a messy business!

Whilst all this happening, have these stayers thought of the STATE they have placed Perak in? What about the progress or non-progress of the state's business? Are the staff of State doing their work? Who is BOSS or do they report to Con-Boss?

As for Mandey-la (thats otak kau! - tamil) and Can't-see-ji Zombie Zambry.....you say you have the Rakyat's feeling at heart (Aiyoo you touched me la dey! hahahaha) then you should do it correct. Show your boss (ahem...Fed gov) you are a better man (hmmmm...to be seen) by apologizing for all your nonsense and bubar assembly. Waste not our money for your legal battles!

We all know Nizar wants to bubar the assembly but Zamry.....looks like he wants everything! His stay shall be over-stay!!!

The outcome of the court decision for legal MB for Perak is amazingly suprising. Yeah, my bet lost!

Even though I am happy with the result but somehow I have this nagging feeling something is so not right. However given the current circumstances, I guess its expected, ain't it.

I mean after the Perak Assembly seating the chaos,damage control BN let off the Hindraf guys from Kamunting and then with the rage of Rakyat with the recent turn of events and not to 'anger' the Rakyat more, BN decided to return Perak to the rightful MB (even if they are saying not so!)

Now our Perak MB should and with the Sultan's blessing (and no hard-feelings) should dissolve the assembly and have fresh elections. Yes its a costly matter but hey compared to BN's gang supposed spending-spree the Perak coffers, its ok la. This is something to do 'rightfully' and PR please show BN how to govern in a correct manner.

Whats the moral of the story......In Politics of BN, there is no moral!

All abuzz on the story of Perak and how 'ceremoniously' our hero Siva was dragged out of his seat and lately how Najib's/Keris's release of the ISAed HIndraf guys is a sign of smoking the peace pipe for the upscale 'kidnap' of Perak's state.

True, true, true...yes,yes,yes.... all is true isn't it. They did kidnap our beloved state and then dragged 'THE MAN' out of his chair and now suddenly the Hindraf guys are suppose to be released! How so timely I must say. Their timing is something to be 'admired'!

To my utter disgust (by the way disgust is something I have been feeling since all the fiasco in Perak started!) our DPM comes on Bernama Astro News yesterday nite (May 8,09) and say - Yes, Siva should be dragged out and how rowdy the PR have been in the Dewan and how the PA system had been 'abused'. Aiyoo kawan, you watched YOU TUBE or not? Possibilities he can't recognize which goons are his and which guys are PRs?? Who were the rowdies? Please someone rewind the tape for him la. Well, long time no blogging! Not that I have been out of topic but I wanted to make sure the topics have been verified and tested for truthfulness....alas its still not easily accomplish able!

We know whats on going in Malaysia yea, the buzz of the RAHMAN theory, the many a 'buy-elections', the case of Ali Mamak and Four Thieves in Perak and then RPK's missing from his trial and now new spin-offs with recent 'tell-a-story' of his Detention in September 08.

Don't condemn me..I am just telling you whats being blogged. Yes I have featured the poor woman being C4ed a couple of times in my blog too but whether or not its being turned into a serial...its still need verification.

Another one more story that we all are waiting for is the State of Perak's dubious MB and the rakyat elected MB 'face-off'! Till today many of us Perakians are upset of the way the rug was tugged from underneath Nizar's feet! So much for our votes! They should have not wasted OUR FUNDS if they wanted to roost their flock (BN-ites) in Perak.

Has anyone noticed the recent deco-spree the current con-a-MB's gang in Perak going on. Its not their money they are wasting, its Perak Rakyat's coffers! Check out the Ceramic Bali-nese Vase on Jalan Gopeng (now known in one royalty name - honestly I too have forgotten the new name!) and the up-coming many a istana in Ipoh. Why not upgrade roads, schools, buses....and other main amenities in Ipoh or parts of Perak but nooooo they spent so much on other stuff 'they' think is more needy.

Just drive around Ipoh and see the latest follies......

Looks like many of the Indians in this country ain't shocked when the Man himself got re-elected as the President of MIC.

This is his 11th term of plundering and pillaging the community.I am shocked that there are people out there who think he is worthy to be the voice of the community. Either that or he just rammed roded into that position via his normal style. (Many who are from that party would know what I mean).

Disappointment is what I felt after the initial feeling of rage when i read of his so-called 'victory'. Aiyooo...heart breaking that there are still very stupid and naive Indians out there.

No good will come out this only more 'gangster-style' intimidation, more plundering, more disregard for the real hardcore Indians in the very rural areas and many many more uneasy situations.

What about his son's so-called relationship with the late Sujatha? Swept under the carpet already ah?

Like many things that's being swept under the Malaysian Political Carpet, we face many doom time with people like these. Come Tuesday there will be another uncontested victory for presidency in another one of the tri-party polls, yes UMNO.

Well MIC Indians please give a big PAT-on the-back for yourselves being the scapegoats for your 'Thalaiver' the 'Moothaler'.

With much disinterest I read Malaysia Insider's article on Mahathir's criticism of Najib today. So, he (Mahathir) is taking a swing on Najib (however said, Mahathir seems to favour him) for not 'shining' in his post as DPM.

Much to every one's dislike, Najib will be sworn in as PM come April Fool's Day. Yea...we are the Fools in Malaysia. We have to accept him as PM till the next General Elections in 4 years down the road. 'Too much to say but shall not say it', that's what we normal Rakyat think.

Then towards the end of the interview, he comments on Anwar... “He (Anwar) is not to be trusted. He will do anything to become prime minister,” Mahathir said. “During the time when he was my deputy, he was involved in cronyism. He supported a lot of his own people, they became very rich, because he gave contracts to them,” the former prime minister said.

Well I think, all politicians practices this cronyism which incidentally was started by the Maha-Guru himself. Tell me, who doesn't practice this type of thing when they hold a political office????? TELL ME.....

This old man (wise is something i shall reserve) should truly retire in style. So he pokes his nose and prods a lot of things, also opens up cans full of worms in the UMNO-ring. Is he demon or the devil in disguise, angel....I don't know. All I know is that Politicians are unscrupulous and a bunch of money-mongrels. All and sundry like us Rakyat are the Fools who believe and put them in their seat and what do we get.......... Nothing!!

Batu Caves...and Thaipusam

Thaipusam came and went but the following scenes are very much still fresh in my eyes. I hardly go up the caves, and this year I decided to with my brother and cousins. Boy was I disappointed! Mind you it was not seeing Lord Muruga but the state of where he is was more of my disappointment! As I looked around the upper temple grounds, these were the scenes I saw.....

Right, the temple committee...wonder who are the people in there, have to look around them! There were rubbish from last year's thaipusam around the stairs leading to the upper temple and then much to my amazement chickens are being rared there (hmmm....wonder WHY??) and rubbish still piled and stench reeking from the areas of the temple. What truly shocked me was the rusted and corroded metal piece from the drain cover! That my friends are the true danger (imagine some kid or adult with thaipusam mayhem just steps or cuts his/her toe....OUCHHHHHH......) Another famous thing I see all around the temple area are Donation Boxes....they were colored and numbered! Collection for this Thaipusam would have been plentiful but wonder how much goes to temple upkeep and how much into temple keepers coffers!!!

Why do so much nonsenses around the temple (ie lake, cave villa some other sundry stuff below) when the upper temple (where I trust is the true attraction) is so BADLY maintained! Year in year out Thaipusam comes and goes but the temple upper grounds...has never been upgraded or even been cleaned thoroughly. Signages were another sore point! Sign boards were still in handwritten and badly put UP! Goodness this occasion is the most celebrated one and come on you mean the committee can't pay for a decent sign board!!!! Does not have to be electronic but at least DECENT!

I fully understand that it is hard to maintain such a big area but you don't have to go over board like keep constructing new and flashy Temples but keep the grounds clean, void of any mosquito breeding, stench of rotting rubbish and food plus other things. This is a gazetted area and IT IS A TOURIST ATTRACTION TOO!!!!

I sure will visit the temple again and bet you RM100.00 that the same scenes will greet us all. Nothing would have been done!

To all, Happy New Year, Chinese New Year Thaipusam...etc. Yea, I've been away from blogging for sometime. Thought will try and change for the new year. You know, I tried keeping my resolution (and promise to my hubby) that I shan't blog..or write my thoughts out for all and sundry to read -...no-la its not working!!!

Today I officially came out of the promise (sorry husband). I can't sit quiet and read whats happening to my fave hometown/kampong...ipoh/perak.

Aiyoo....lagi lagi..these dingbats do these and slap our faces over and over again. Is this why we voted last March? Is this why many rakyat came out to voice their 'feelings' towards the current BN/UMNO-tri-party goons? We chased you people out for a reason however looks like our Sultan thinks not. He is our keeper but he failed to keep our hearts happy by bringing the very people we chased out BACK!

Funnily he did it right after he spend the money of state celebrating his JUBILEE REIGN!!! Many people who have come to Ipoh and parts of the state have commented how Perak has become cleaner after it had been taken over by PR....how so short-lived.

Why did you do it Sultan Azlan?? WHY?? Why slap your rakyat on their faces? I don't understand... SIGH...Did we not pay our taxes, did we not celebrate your jubilee in a grander fashion maybe....MENGAPA TUANKU???

Looks like we have to wait for the next GE to really get THEM to hear us Once and FOR ALL.

Rightly or wrongly he did what he did, (money or no money spent/received) as he deemed fit. We the rakyat shall do what we do best..keep fighting for JUSTICE...

As many people know, Justice is DEAD in Malaysia. It has been dead and blasted for sometime. Till it resurrects.....

Yeap, off late everyone is buzzing around with money talk and how to make ends meet when the we face the financial crunch. However I note that, Malaysian politicians are very positive about the economics of the country.

Truly wonder if they had their facts right or just another shooting off their mouth session. Looking around me, here in Europe, I can see the crunch being effected. People are spending less (mind you its christmas season!) and if they have to they spend on their children and not on themselves.

In London, for example, its total sale. They have dropped the price with further discount but people were not buying or swiping their cards. Well from where my girlfriend and I stood, like us, many were window shopping. When there were purchases, it was for their kids or necesities. I kept converting my pounds to ringgit and honestly, it was sad to part with money and some were very good buys! Had to resist!!

In Dubai, on the other hand, people were spending!! Yes this new world, artifical to me though, people were stinking with money. Yes, oil rich, they can. They drive around with big cars throwing money with parties, nite clubs at Atlantic and The Palm! The exchange rate just a few cents difference to us. Made me wonder why the middle eastern go crazy buying things in Malaysia as they too have everything, every label....you name it they have it! On the sad end, there were many too, whom are there for money, earning it the hard way!

In Italy, now this one, you can see the par difference. There are a bunch of people finding every means to get 1 euro. Yes, like Malaysia, you have beggars, and not so much like Malaysia, you have vagebonds. They go around house to house or stations carrying a baby trying to make money (fast) instead of earning for it. Much like some parts of India and Indonesia come to think of it. It irks me and I am sorry but I never give them money. Economics here too fast going down like many european counterparts. Their PM, largely controls the TV media, and entertains the public with nonsense so they won´t actually worry about meaningful things!

Then you watch the news on BBC/Skynews and see places like Greece with its massive riots which infact will do no good to the economy of the country. People don´t seem to mind! They have to bring their corrupt government to a stand still and oust their PM apparently.

Truly made me think, yes Malaysia does sound more like paradise, but this paradise will vanish soon (no timeframe) if our government keep sweeping problems under the rug. Sad yes, but true. It scares me to think if people are suppressed, the result will be devasting! Devasting both to its economy and its people. The last time I saw paradiso Malaysia, people were spending money like like water and must say some were more frugal. As for me, I just thank god I have another day to see sunshine, rain and breath freshness...and yes worry that our savings are safe!

Well, if I don´t get to a nearest internet cafe before x´mas and year end, don´t wish to leave this blog so grey!,

Signboards and politics

Azalina: Don't politicise tourism signboard issue ....as reported in The Malaysian Insider, Mon Nov 24.

Well looks like Azalina is at it again, now its the road signage well the smaller ones.....however there is another signboard of a BIG kind from Tourism Dept that has been confusing me for a long while (since she took over the ministry actually).The signboards you see around the highways and by-ways with her face and Badawi's plus Najib's.

This is a no-brainer. Why have their faces on a TOURISM SIGNBOARD?? So not related....so DUH la.

I have no understanding what these three people got to do with beautiful tourist destinations in Malaysia?

By the way, when Najib takes over as PM, you will have to replace the boards..yes or no? The cost again will be incurred....and lets say the Najib stint is short-lived, then what, change again thus incurring more COST. Why are you people so fixated to SPEND MONEY instead of SAVING as the world is riding into recession? Io non capisco!

This is why we should have more well educated people on board of our government boat. So far we have no-brainers.

By the way, I will try and get a picture of a signboard to adorn my weblog....

Sensationalized news on the FATWA banning the yoga has become every one's conversation piece today.

I was at my hair dresser today when a few of us were talking about it. My stylist a Malay lady actually was not happy about it. She didn't see any harm in practicing yoga so long she doesn't do anything that's uncomfortable for her. Her faith is strong and not yoga or anything was gonna shake her faith. Well my sentiments exactly.

If you have a strong and sound faith, why are you so frightened that an exercise may shake it? Now if we are to question that, we will be thrown in prison with no chance of a trial.

If the counsel was so into it, then please do things right. There are so many gays out there, even we have our celebrity chef who is gay. Kindly issue a fatwa on that. Please also go the shopping malls where there are so many gays working as fragrance and cosmetics sales person.

When you garland someone, now that is an Indian tradition....why do that? Kindly issue a FATWA on that too.No Muslims are to be garland.

I am not criticising the FATWA but I think the whole issue has been totally mutilated. Why after so long this came about? Why?

Sigh........are we going back many steps when we are suppose to be moving forward.

Cat Fight!

So these two are gonna meet in the arena. Now i bet the tickets for this fight are all sold out! LOL...exclusive for UMNO-putra only OK!

Well whatever, their agenda behind fighting for the TOP post in the women's division is very clear - not much different from their counter-part of the opposite sex -Men's division. They have to enrich their purse strings before they are booted out (or not).

Rafidah wants to stay another 3 years if she wins, as reported in Malaysiakini.

Has anyone of them, both women and men in UMNO camp ever thought about the people they are suppose to be representing? A LOUD NO!

Actually to be fair, same for all the component parties of BN- MIC/MCA are no better too.

At the end, we the innocent rakyat are the victim of these 'fights', 'secret agendas' and etc.

The day they put the country 1st in their agenda.....it will be dooms-day in Malaysia!!! One thing for sure, they paid extra attention in politic-class of theirs where their Professor was none other than Mahathir himself! He taught them VERY well. BRAVO!

Hmmm...not to sound so bias, even our new opposition had some classes from the Professor. There are some oldies like DAP/PAS who are the rebels in class.

Entertainment year 2009 for Malaysia! Azalina.....maybe you can promote this for your tourism la.

As much as I hate reading the MSMs, today i actually clicked thestar.online and was reading some amusing stuff.

1st - being Mahathir ; he is going to reveal the names of his so-called cronies who are involved in money politics. Out of curiosity, today I read chedet.com, our 'wonderful' ex-PM's blog. I was laughing so much and thinking to myself, this man truly has balls to come out and criticised the ex-Gratia payment made to the judges he sacked. Hmmm.....what do they call these type of people?

Then he goes on saying how Zaid, with his firm got lucrative business and how Zaid benefited from NEP. Yes...and you (DR M) didn't benefit anything being PM, your children didn't benefit anything from it too?? Aiyoo so paavem la he!

He earned RM240k per annum as a PM. With such money he manage to live so luxuriously, own god knows how many palaces, mansions and estates in and out of the country and not to mention monies stashed in overseas banks. Hey he is SO BEGGING to be investigated by ACA....but our ACA is not an independent body - they cannot go against their former master leh!

This joker....is truly a joker la. What even balled me over is the comments posted on the subject. Aiyoo a*se-carrying to the tilt you will see, man! Where do these people come from???? No wonder we still have such a low opinion of general Malay-sians! (Note the hyphen).

Are we that STUPID ah? Does he think we the younger generation are THAT STUPID?? TATA, stop your bickering and start 'enjoying' whats left of your life...hey you are in your 80s! Unless you have some major 'help' to stay until 100 over....just enjoy your last few years LA!!!!

However I don't see that happening as his puppets are going up the stage next year. We are going to be kept entertained by his puppets in POWER! What is happening?

As you are all aware, these last couple of weeks have been truly interesting and infuriating for many of us in Malaysia.

What with the 3 detained in ISA and only 2 released leaving Pete still in detention plus the turmoil within UMNO and its presidency and not forgetting Anwar's promises.

One can only shake the head and sigh heavily. As for me, I am amazed at what lengths our wonderful UMNO bosses go to retain their POWER SEAT as this Presidency seat automatically makes the incumbent the Prime Minister of this country. We the Rakyat have no power to elect our PM, only UMNO-ites can do that. Only they can elect their President and this guy then becomes the PM. How odd yea?

If one asks why then we are subjected to ISA or detained under sedition act. Such law only makes the Rakyat more angrier and to demand an answer. However due to their 'Bossy" attitude, the Rakyat will be left in the dark and have to accept whom the UMNOites decides to elect as their President and subsequently as our PM.

He may be a sleepyhead, a YES man, a crook, a racist, a pariah, a murderer, a wise man (errr....sorryla so far none in candidacy), a man who respects all and sundry (the multi-national rakyat) (ok this also none) and the list goes on, we have to accept.

Why are we not like other countries where we can elect our PM ah? I mean yes we have the GE and that only decides which party rules the Government however looking at the trend its always been BN and its major player being UMNO and its supremacy; they hold all power and absolute power to this country's well being.

Thus far, the POWER has been misused, abused, ridiculed and worst of all led to arrogant way of handling matters of this country and its people. We had 20 plus years of that rule and another 4 plus years of ignorance and god knows how many more of plundering years to go on.

Is there NO END? We can only pray and pray very hard that we get some change in this country. How and when is still a question mark. Whether Anwar or by some miracle the new UMNO president has a change of heart (major heart transplant would be required here looking at the situation) we shall have to brave it.

The younger generation whom are looking at them(UMNO-BN/PKR), they shall be brought up with a mindset that they can (when older) rule the country as they wish - as being done currently. Consequence be damned.

Malaysia.....good luck you need it and more.

As for Anwar and his promises, whether its a reality or not, only time can tell. When it happens then its major history in making. We shall not venture into that sector yet.

Today I spent reading some comments and also contributed to some at Susan's blog site. There was this chap..'Bola Hangus' who twigged me with his comments. He had the heated fire ball in him (very apparent in his writings) that kept lashing out at anyone whom made comments. He never failed and kept at it..he even called himself 'laser'.

Sometimes i too get heated up when i read comments that are disturbing. Recent events here (in Malaysia) has seen many of us in this situation. One of the many too got banish for 3 years. Some have a rawer deal and been detained under ISA and there are other like us...blogging it and fearless to what the repercussion maybe.

MCMC banned one blog/website...god knows why but they did and today was told to lift the ban.

Is it wrong to speak ones mind? Is it wrong to ask questions? I was told by teachers and parents alike to ask as many questions i want (even now!). Is it also wrong to speak one's mind then if one wish to voice their opinion? What a complex world we live in.

In Malaysia, this freedom to speak yet limited access to it only came by after Mahathir's resignation. Even he is enjoying the blogsphere now! One good thing AAB did was to open this option to us Malaysians...late but still we are here.

Lets use the blog for right reasons and be more 'open-minded' when commenting but I must say this - please leave vulgarity on the doorstep before you enter into this sphere.

Truly...tell us one good reason why we have to vote for BN this by-election in PP? You guys have been slip-sliding recently with administration of the country and mocking the judicial system and all these laughable accusations thrown at opposition party.

Actually in all good admin system, there should always be check and balance. However if BN wins...sorry la these checks and balances shall never appear in our Country. They make check...and unbalance it as they have been doing for these 51 years. The prove being the state our country is run.

I just hope and pray that these Indians and Chinese in PP are not bought over by these so called 'goodies' BN is throwing out and not to mention the Malays too.

By the way why only 3 ceramah of oppositions have been approved whilst BN got 7 approved? Err...why ah? Why not give half-half? Why are they so frightened?

My greatest wish that opposition wins... PKR and not PAS. Somehow just don't trust PAS, as, if they win they might just forge an alliance with BN and give it back to BN! Hey that can happen whose to say NO?

Aiyaaaa.....politics so dirty and they have the dirtiest people playing it in our Country. They gamble on our tax-payers money and their stakes are high. Its our lives and our future (all and sundry) they are gambling with.

Latest saga - on the car issue (Trgn buying MBenz for their Co-Execs)

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government has defended the purchase of 14 Mercedes E200 Kompressor cars at RM3.43mil for the use of its state executive councillors and senior officials.

Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said said the state government had planned to purchase the cars for a long time now to replace its Proton Perdana V6 Executive fleet in a move to cut cost.
“Please understand that the Proton Perdanas go through continuous long-distance journeys. It’s costing us a lot of money due to high cost of maintenance.
“We are not saying that the national car is not good but in reality we are coughing up more money for maintaining the Proton Perdanas, particularly the gear boxes,” he said.
Ahmad cited the example of the Proton Perdana of state Commerce, Industry and Environment committee chairman Toh Chin Yaw, which has twice undergone expensive repairs costing RM50,000 within 36 months.
“In the long run, Mercedes cars are cheaper to maintain and could also save us fuel costs.
“This is the state’s long-term plan – we are farsighted. The cars could also fetch a high market price, when sold as second-hand cars.
“We studied all angles before deciding to buy the Mercedes E200 cars,” he added

Yes and that's why they need MBenz..but how about the poor people in Terengganu?? Why spent so much money on cars when they can on infra-based projects (not that it would not start another BN - based corruption cycle somewhere!!)

They have the cheek to say all these and more!!!! You mean to say they can't buy lets say a Honda or Toyota (all within RM130k) instead of spending something like RM300k on 1 car! Lets do simple maths ok...14 cars multiply RM150k equals RM2.1mil..wah that can go fund a school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No No No No No No ..cannot must have Merc if not maruah jatuh...blah blah!!!

Hey people!

Well with whats happening to this country, I won't be suprise if our blogsites will soon be 'disrupted' due to technical glitch...yeah you know what i mean. It happened to one famous blog site but maybe mine ain't that famous la.

Been reading 'Malayskini' online and honestly, I do not and have not trusted the MSM for sometime now. So my source of proper news is online via MK and off course my fav blogsites, sloone, kit and niamah.

Yesterday our wonderful sleepy PM started pointing fingers to bloggers and wagged it hard enuff but alas he forgot the his balance 4 fingers were pointing back at him!!! and off course not to forget his cronies la.

You can blame as much you want En PM but you have failed miserably to uphold your office in a decent and honourable manner. You are a shame just like MM.

You and your people have been so swallowed in the greed and you have forgotten what is honour and integrity. Its a joke that we have an Institute Integrity Malaysia just off Jln Duta!!! Wonder what they are doing or what kind of integrity they are dealing with and not to forget how much their are spending our hard earned MONEY!

Bet all you of you are still recovering from the oil-spill of a story! Bet some haven't yet!

I have yet to fuel up with the new petrol price increase but my joy shall be shortlived. I HAVE to fuel up today..i am running on almost E line. Scarred shit on how much i will be paying for my perdana full tank!

Sigh..... whatla Malaysia? Oil producing country and still high.

On the reverse, I was in Germany early this year and the fuel price was Euro 1.34 (highest during the time we were there, France Euro 1.45 and Luxemburg Euro 1.20. If you convert prices, yes yes yes we pay peanuts comparitively. However if we don't and leave it to 1-1 we pay higher!! Mind you we produce oil too and they don't!!!

Yea-lah, stale story to talk about but very saddening. SIGHHHHHH ........

The doctor told the girl's parents to take the foetus for burial and lodge a police report.The couple buried the foetus the following day at a cemetery in Kampung Tanjung, Pengkalan Kubor, but did not lodge a report.Four days later, however, the doctor lodged a report and police went to the family's house.
District police chief Superintendent Norazizan Anan said the girl admitted to what had happened and showed them where the foetus was buried.The foetus was exhumed and sent for a post-mortem yesterday.Norazizan said the exhumation was done to enable police to determine the cause of death and also for a DNA test. Sources said police arrested a 25-year-old self-employed man on Sunday to assist investigations.

School Uniform!!!!!

The most hiliarious topic i read at malaysiakini.com was one Munirah saying that white school uniform blouse is too sexy (if one reads it right) for the girls!

Er duh! Now this is the new thing ,is it? Men are men, even young children to some physco men are ancouraging them to rape a kid!!!!! You can wear a baggy blouse or attire would drive them to say or do something stupid.

Women, I am not saying all are wonderful angels. There are a some who encourage nonsenses and gets the brunt of it. Now just because of some incidents, this is now the Education Dept's main worry??

Munirah, makcik, tolong-lah. There are more pressing things in this country's education system thats need to be looked into and it's not UNIFORM! One other blogger had posted on the level of spoken and written english as well as malay should be Education Dept's priority.

I have a few more

a) Teachers' ENGLISH and MALAY should be looked into!
b) Teachers' level of understanding before teaching students rubbish!
c) Teachers' overall performance should be looked into!

I have been away for the last two weeks. Just been out of touch!!! I was reading or catching up on the RP case and off course all the hubla on the related cases - cyber space and what not.

Amazing what our under-dogs can come up with.

You know, they are just going round and round..the petai tree actually!

They think we the rakyat can be hoodwinked? Ahmmmmm not so easy friend. They have lots of nonsense to clear up and honestly they have yet TO START!!!!!! To think it has been now 2 months since our elections and all we see is finger-pointings and back-bitings.

Tired of the bickering and tired of the excuses they come up with. Wonder if they will ever learn. So far not!

Back from Holidays

Hello people

Just got back from a lovely but cold holiday stint. Was away for almost 3 weeks to germany and boy was it cold! Landed in Frankfurt with a temp of 0'C and snowing! Flew MAS and it was alright-la. Wonder why so much fuss about them being a world class winner...didn't see any difference. However I must say KLIA is a wonderful airport..tell you why later.

My 3 weeks in germany went well and most of the time was covered in layers of jackets/thermo-wear/socks..you name it! Missed home...for roti canai, teh tarik, nasi lemak. Didn't miss the uproar that was going on in the political arena!

On the way back in frankfurt int airport, not much shopping to be done as everything was expensive as I kept converting the Euro to RM (yea yea i hear you i shouldn't but hey i get paid in RM) The airport duty free was not as good as Asean Duty free, Changi, Swarnabumi and KLIA.

Anyway i touched down KLIA and was glad i came home to warm land...but not the political arena (sound like a broken record ah).

Looks like i have a lots to read/catch up on in malaysiakini.

I am truly happy that we (the minority Malaysians) have spoken and reacted well.

That should be awake call to BN guys who have been too cushy with their positions. People like Samy should realize, people put him there and the same people can shift him OUT too.

To our PM, that's OK you have another 4 odd years to prove that you are worthy and keep your promise and do the right things with immediate effect. Don't listen to what the hypocrite like Mahathir says. He is a fine one to speak, the cheek of that man. He led a corrupt country for 20 odd years...and now he calls the kettle black! Enough la Mahathir, go cry elsewhere.

Whats worse he wants Najib to be PM!!! Alamak that's disaster in making already. Wonder what Najib and he are cooking up. Looks like our ex PM is getting crazier by the day.

DAP, PKR do whats right and do it right. Worry not, you are beginners and mind you people will say lots of nonsense (you know sore losers) but work together and stay together..that should be good. All new staff go thru probationary period...so the same for you la.

Today morning, as I was having my breakfast, I saw this maybe 5 months pregnant mom -to-be walking by. The road was uneven, granted but the stupid woman was wearing a high heel!!!!! Aiyoo how stupid could she be! Didn't anyone advise her that when u are pregnant u are to wear a low heel or slightly heel (for back reasons) shoes/slippers.

She nearly fell forward! Thank god for a car parked at the side that she managed to hold on the side! Imagine what would have happened if not! I wanted to shout so badly but a passerby gentleman rapped the lady instead.

That brought back memories to me. Last week I saw another pretty Malay pregnant girl having tea in TTDI Devi's. She was with friends and when she got up I noticed she was wearing a high-heel shoes. There..another stupid one! This girl was full bloom in pregnancy. Then later her so gay friend was puffing away his/her cigarette into the pregnant lady's face! I couldn't help it but starred at the guy-girl whatever and they were so oblivious!

I feel so disgusted when i see these things. People taking things for granted (like their pregnancy and health) what some of us are not able to enjoy.

When I see women with cigarettes and puffing away like high heaven i actually shake my head and voice my disgust. (My husband always shakes his head and tells me its not my business) Yeah, I guess but hey I am inhaling the SMOKE!!!!

I hope that these women or women in general actually get a reality check. Yea Yea women's lib and all but please-lah, when it comes to health and the health of your baby in the tummy...use some brains!!

Okay...this is the last week..well last few days before we head to the polls. Are we mentally prepared? Are we ready to face the outcome of this GE?

Hmm...I am not sure myself. I was just reading malaysiakini and yes there are many things for us to think about and face but are we bold enough?

Our PM promises things and also has yet to fulfil his other promises he made in the 2004 GE. What makes us think he will keep any? What with all that's happened before? He needs time..on our expense!

Samy...let's not even go THERE!!!!! Sg Siput please wisely vote or you might be short changed as you have been short-changed all this while. He shows his samseng Puthi (brains) when his goons tried to ban the women activist in his area. MCP!

Today I read Malaysiakini's articles on forgiving Samy (under VOX) and others as well.

Do you think Samy needs to forgiven? I actually think he has to ask our forgiveness for all his and his cronies follies.

Like many of the writers, I too express my deepest regret that we have this man who from time and time screws us up so bad. Maybe some were lucky and didn't feel the brunt but many too were very unlucky and suffered terribly. Tired of talking about him la actually!

Wishful thinking that this EC, we see the shift in percentage of power. Honestly its wishful thinking but back of your mind you actually wonder if it will happen. Pondering what the effect maybe, will change one's perception. I asked my dad who he votes for, he replied 'BN'. Asked him why and he replied "peace and for nothing else". He is from old school and there are many old schoolers out there waiting for March 8th. The young ones - some didn't even register! and some registered late (September 07 dateline and we all know why!!), would we truly get the result we are expecting? I hope that there will some effect but i won't hold my breath if it doesn't happen. Sad isn't it?

Yesterday, met up with my cousins and their children and topic ventured into school blah blah and history lessons in school. To my shock, i was informed that the current students do not do world history as much as what we did (I am talking about early 80s students). I was so disgusted that my nephews didn't know somethings we studied, like Boston Tea Party, the Revolution, 2nd world war. They said yes its there but its only maybe 1/3 of what we did. Now it seems they are studying 80% Islamic and Nabi's history. Amazing......... but how relevant is that in the 'world' as in globally challenging to our kids now. Yes please do teach about the prophet and the Islamic history but the kids/teenagers need substance la. No wonder our kids cannot compete with the kids out there!!! If that's history, wonder what they are learning in geography or for that matter ENGLISH!

This i have to tell you, my niece in Ipoh schools in MGS. In std 1, she actually corrected her teacher's English. Her teacher wrote on the board for students to copy and madam wrote it wrongly. My niece quietly went up to the teacher and told her that its wrong. Imagine if she hadn't been the smart cookie type, it would have been left uncorrected and 30 odd students would think that's the spelling!!!!!

It doesn't stop there. The test papers that comes out is so baddddddd that its a disgrace to call our teachers, teachers!!! I must say the older generation had a better class of teachers than this generation. Thanks la Education Ministry for stupefying our children.

How much is ever enough?

My girlfriend is from East Malaysia. She was just telling me how little they make over there but how much they spend. ie cost of goods and services

She, like some other EMs, have moved to the brighter lit cities like KL, Penang or some even Singapore. She was lamenting that she didn't see many younger generation over at her place when she 'balik kampung' for CNY. Yet the cost of things are not cheap. Their pay - so crappy, how to survive, she asks.

Here we WMs are a lucky lot. We pay less for petrol, food, stuffs, why even magazines and papers!!!! Yet we grumble that we have not much money.

She made me reflect on how lucky i am.

Just read that EC now has approved using UMNO flags in the areas where it stands. Hmmm....now whats that BS? This is reported in The Star (online news). So does that mean MIC or MCA can also fly their flags or just our UMNOites? Nothing was said on that matter.

Actually i really don't care much if MIC does fly their flag, I am no supporter of Samy or the MIC in general.

I have been totally contemplating this move and today i jumped into the bandwagon of my fellow bloggers! I AM IN!!!!!
